Innate Yoga was created by Amanda Losch

Amanda is a trail and ultra runner and as been an athlete her whole life. Initially, she turned to yoga for physical relief from running-related injuries. As yoga became a part of her routine, she started to notice more than just physical benefits. Sleeping better, being more present and focused, and overall happier were among the few! This spoke to her and she decided that she wanted to become a yoga teacher to help others to stay fluid, prevent injuries and find inner peace through yoga practice. She encourages everyone to come to their mat with the intention to be their best and honor their body.

In addition to physical benefits of yoga, she strongly believes in the benefits of pranayama (yoga breath) and meditation. She loves to teach others how to incorporate them into their daily life for overall wellness.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana University. She completed her 200hr yoga teacher training at Inhale Exhale School of Yoga; 300hr yoga teacher & Children’s yoga teacher trainings through My Vinyasa Practice, and Yoga Sports Coach certification through Institute of Yoga Sports Science. She is certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Behavioral Change Specialist and Nutrition Coach. She is a certified Brain Longevity Instructor through Alzheimers Prevention and Research Foundation. She is also trained in Women’s Health (Yoga Medicine), Mindful Yoga Therapy and is currently a Yoga Therapy student with Breathing Deeply.

“It’s called a yoga practice, not a yoga perfect.”

What People Are Saying

"Started classes with Amanda in March 2020 (during the pandemic), as I was looking for a remote class at a set time each week. Her stress relief yoga was great and a welcome break mid-week. Have also attended several in-person classes with Amanda, and they have also been excellent. Highly recommended!”

“Five Stars all day! If you haven’t done yoga or have done it with other instructors you have try it with Amanda Losch. She is amazing and takes you beyond any edges preset in your mind. “Amanda is a very articulate yoga instructor. As a new person to the practice she made it very  easy for me to follow her directions to get into various poses and thus, eliminating the constant need to see how she was doing the poses.  She moves around the room to show poses and helps all to modify poses to their abilities. Amanda has a very soothing voice but audible to hear her instructions.”

“Amanda is great, especially for someone new to trying yoga.  She offers modifications as she’s teaching and also helps you re-position to avoid injury.   I have learned a lot from her and am feeling the health benefits from attending her events and classes.  She just wants you to have the best practice for where you are at.  I appreciate all the knowledge she has shared.”

“Amanda gives very clear anatomical directions and has the ability to adjust the practice to what the class needs on a particular day.  As an athlete she is particularly suited to help fellow sports minded individuals keep their body well tuned. Excellent teacher.”
